Working together to promote quality of life for older people. Age Concern North Shore is a dynamic, independent, people focused organisation, responsive to the changing needs of our multi-cultural community, providing quality co-ordinated services to Older People on the North Shore. Age Concern North Shore recognizes the self-determination of older people and supports their right to maintain their dignity and to have a voice in all policy and planning.

What we currently do in the way of marketing

Currently gained $50,000 contra sponsorship for NZ Herald advertising. Use Ad hoc media, emails and flyers for specific programmes and seminars

Message to Students / How you can help

Need to raise our profile. The demographics of older people and demand for services will swamp us if we don't increase our resources and we need to get people to recognise and value what we do. We are so busy responding to service needs, that we don't have resources to market ourselves.

The next generation will need our help to maintain the links with their parents and grandparents while they are at work and play. We fill the gaps and are a one stop shop for older people and their families. We have years of expertise that we offer for free to consumers.
