Vision - A New Zealand where there is consensus on policies and practices that build a healthy society with the least possible harm from drug and substance use.

Mission - The New Zealand Drug Foundation – Te Tuapapa Tarukino o Aotearoa is committed to:

• Providing national leadership to advocate for the most effective policies and services
• Building and sharing the evidence base of alcohol and drug policies, information and services
• Engaging with our members and communities to inform and be informed.

What we currently do in the way of marketing

No paid advertising. All publicity is through media advocacy.

Message to Students / How you can help

Simple - drugs affect everyone, but unfortunately, drug use has a disproportionate imapct on young people. Problem is, society often blames young people for drug problems (teenage binge drinking etc). Also unfortunately, young people are not engaged in the debate about how we can deal with drug harm - they need to have a say about policies and services that affect them.

We're well linked with policy makers and politicians, and are well placed to ensure young people can have say in decisions that get made about them.
